Community Gardens

The Louis Street Gardens, located on west Louis Street, is Cologne’s community garden. The garden was established in 2023 by the non-profit, Cologne Community Gardens, with support from Carver County Public Health SHIP program, the Lion’s Club, and the City of Cologne.

The garden is divided into 49 plots each rented by community members or planted and maintained for food shelf donations. The in-ground plots measure 10 feet by 15 feet and rent $25 for the season. The raised garden plots are around 3 feet by 4 feet and rent for $10 for the season.
